CCRG sponsors are handpicked by the league’s governing body, and we strive to select companies that fit the image of positivity, athleticism, and grass-roots community involvement. We know that a partnership between our company and yours will provide mutual benefit and advertising opportunities to a similar target demographic.

All CCRG sponsors will be in select company when featured at bouts, on the web or in print. We welcome in-kind/trade opportunities to defray league expenses and enjoy partnering with other small businesses.  CCRG hosted events will be fun, well promoted, and very well organized. Skaters will share the spotlight with our favorite charities by donating a portion of bout proceeds, assisting with awareness campaigns, and participating in fundraisers. Our fans include a cross section of males and females in the metro Jackson area. Ages range from 1-100, and include children, families, professionals, college students, and more.

Although each skater pays monthly dues to participate, CCRG still relies heavily on sponsorship from companies to provide affordable entertainment to the people of Jackson.  CCRG sponsors will be featured alongside our positive, athletic, hip, smart, and female image. Enjoy the halo effect of partnering with an all-female, DIY, skater owned-and-operated small business, which will deliver captivating and memorable sporting events.

Why do the Capital City Rollergirls need sponsors?
The start-up costs of a roller derby league are phenomenal. The single biggest cost to a newly forming league is practice space. That, plus additional costs for bouting location rental, a beer permit at the event, additional insurance, any bands we recruit for half-time, etc. We require dues of our players, but dues mostly go towards practice space costs. We hold fundraisers monthly, but need resources to make them happen. In addition to practice/bout costs, our league is looking at the following additional expenses:

  • Uniforms
  • Web hosting costs
  • Association membership fees
  • Flyers, brochures, and other printed materials
  • Merchandise
  • Equipment (track lighting, scoreboard software, sound equipment, water coolers, etc)

We need sponsors to donate goods, services, or financial
backing to help us keep our league going!

Why should I sponsor the Capital City Rollergirls? What can I get out of it?
The biggest return you will receive by investing in the Capital City Rollergirls is promotion. Your name and logo will be on our webpage, our uniforms, our flyers.
People will know that you are an official sponsor of the Capital City Rollergirls. In addition to the publicity your business will receive by sponsoring us, we will be more than happy to appear at your events to help draw a crowd. We can arrange to hold exhibition shows at your business (if feasible). You will be able to use us a promotion tool. Who doesn't love girls in skirts and skates?

Do I share in any monetary profits?
No, because the league is a Mississippi non-profit corporation with pending 501 (c) (3) status, we cannot allow any corporate sponsor to retain "shares" in our league. You will not have any input on how the league is run or collect any profits from the league. As stated above, you will get promotion and advertisement in return for your contribution.

I might be interested in sponsoring the league - what can I do?
Right now our biggest need is financial backing. However, anything you can donate would be very much appreciated. We are currently seeking:

  • Printing & distribution services for flyers, brochures, posters, stickers
  • Venues to hold fundraisers
  • Items that can be used in fundraisers (raffles and door prizes for example)
  • Merchandise services
  • Any other useful good or service you could provide

If you are a business or individual that would like to sponsor our derby girls,
